Applying this mask immediately over unbuffered direct chemical exfoliants (AHA/BHA peels), high-potency pure L-Ascorbic Acid (>15%), or prescription topical retinoids forces rapid trans-stratum corneum uptake, predisposing the skin to acute chemical erythema, contact dermatitis, and microvascular flushing. Furthermore, the cooling cryo-complex (Menthyl Lactate and Erythritol) is strictly contraindicated over open, broken skin lesions or actively oozing cystic eruptions (Acne Grade 4) due to transient neurosensory stinging.
