Why This Formula
A curated, travel-proportioned restorative wardrobe engineered around OLAPLEX’s breakthrough covalent bond-rebuilding chemistry. Spanning targeted pre-cleanse cortex repair, ultra-concentrated sulfate-free cleansing, intensive micro-lipidic conditioning, smooth cuticular sealing, and featherlight thermo-radiance, this six-piece regimen reconstructs compromised hair integrity from deep cortex to outermost cuticular surface.
Key Ingredients
Centered on patented Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, an innovative bivalent bridging agent that relinks fractured disulfide bonds caused by oxidative chemical processing, mechanical brushing, and thermal styling. Enhanced with phytantriol for deep moisture retention, hydrolyzed vegetable proteins for porosity correction, and cold-pressed bio-fermented seed oils that confer thermal defense up to 232°C (450°F).
Sensorial Profile & Finish
A progressive sensorial journey: transitioning from the lightweight, fast-absorbing fluid-cream texture of the No.3 pre-treatment, into the dense, rich lather of the sulfate-free shampoo, the slip-inducing velvet melt of the conditioner, the plush anti-frizz styling cream, and the weightless, high-refractive-index golden bonding oil that imparts diamond-like reflectivity without residue.
How to Use
Dispense No.3 once to twice weekly onto towel-dampened, unwashed hair; saturate evenly from roots to ends, comb through, and allow to incubate for 10 to 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, then cleanse with a coin-sized portion of No.4 Shampoo, working into an opulent micro-foam. Follow with No.5 Conditioner along mid-lengths and ends; leave for 3 minutes before rinsing cleanly. On towel-dried hair, disperse a pea-sized amount of No.6 Bond Smoother through mid-lengths, and layer 2 to 3 drops of No.7 Bonding Oil to seal cuticles and impart thermal defense prior to heat styling or natural air-drying.
Good to Know
Critical Clinical Precautions: 1. No.3 is not a leave-in conditioner; leaving it to dry in the hair overnight without shampooing produces residual crusting, tactile stiffness, and paradoxical breakage (‘شعري نشف وبقى ملزق’). 2. Never apply No.3 to fully dry or dripping-wet strands; excess water dilutes the active bond-linking molecule, whereas fully dry hair inhibits uniform cuticular saturation. 3. In Cairo and Mediterranean coastal heat, avoid heavy dosing of No.6 cream or No.7 oil on fine hair textures to prevent an occlusive, weighed-down appearance (‘طاسة زيت’); micro-dosing is paramount. 4. Hard or mineral-dense tap water can coat hair strands; always rinse thoroughly to helps provide unobstructed molecular penetration.
